PENATALAKSANAAN FISIOTERAPI KASUS CERVICAL ROOT SYNDROME DENGAN MODALITAS TENS DAN TERAPI LATIHAN DI KOTA CIREBON TAHUN 2020
Abstract
Cervical root syndrome adalah sindrom defisit sensorimotor yang menyebabkan nyeri dan kaku pada leher. Penyebab dari cervical root syndrome karena adanya kompresi akar saraf servikal. Tujuan penulisan untuk mengetahui penatalaksanaan fisioterapi menggunakan modalitas transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) dan terapi latihan pada cervical root syndrome tahun 2020. Penelitian karya tulis ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan penatalaksanaan terapi 6 kali. Pelaksanaan meliputi segala tindakan fisioterapi yaitu, nyeri dengan VAS, pemeriksaan kekuatan otot dengan MMT, pemeriksaan LGS dengan goneometer, pemeriksaan fungsional dengan NDI. Setelah dilakukan 6 kali terapi terdapat hasil adanya penurunan nyeri diam T1 = 5 menjadi T6 = 2, nyeri tekan T1 = 6 menjadi T6 = 3 dan nyeri gerak T1=8 menjadi T6 = 4, bertambahnya nilai kekuatan otot Pada T5 pada gerakan fleksi dan ekstensi nilainya menjadi 5 yaitu dapat melawan tahanan maksimal. Kemudian ada peningkatan pada T6 gerakan side fleksi dekstra dan sinistra manjadi nilai 5 yaitu dapat melawan tahanan maksimalpeningkatan LGS aktif T1 = (S 40-0-30, F 40-0-45, R 40-0-40) menjadi T6 = (S 40-0-35, F 45-0-45, R 40-0-40), sedangkan LGS pasif T1 = (S 40-0-30, F 40-0-45, R 40-0-40) menjadi T6 = (S 40-0-35, F 45-0-45, R 40-0-40). Dan peningkatan fungsional dari score NDI T1= 32% menjadi T6= 15,5%. Pasien dengan diagnosis cervical root syndrome dengan keluhan nyeri dan kaku pada leher, dengan keterbatasan lingkup gerak sendi (LGS) dan penurunan kekuatan otot. Diberikan program fisioterapi dengan TENS dan Terapi Latihan, setelah menjalani terapi 6 kali dengan hasil meningkatnya aktifitas fungsional, berkurangnya nyeri, bertambahnya lingkup gerak sendi bahu dan meningkatnya kekuatan otot. Pasien disarankan untuk melakukan terapi secara rutin dan melakukan latihan-latihan yang telah diberikan oleh fisioterapis.

Cervical root syndrome is a condition of defisite sensorymotor syndrome that causes pain and limited motion in the cervical joint. The cause of cervical root syndrome is compression of rootlets in cervical, the purpose of writing to determine the physiotherapy treatment using transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation modalities and therapeutic exercise on the cervical root syndrome in 2020. The study of this paper uses the case study method of salvage therapy for 6 times. Implementation includes all acts of physiotherapy is the assesment of pain by VAS, assesment of muscle strength with MMT, assessment ROM by goneometer, examination of functional activity by NDI. After the therapy for 6 times obtained the result assessment of idleness an decrease T1 = 5 to T6 = 2, in tenderness T1 = 6 to T6 = 3, and motion pain T1=8 to T6 = 4, increase in the value of muscle strength On T5 in flexion and extension value to 5 which can resist a maximum custody. Then there was an increase in side flexion dextra and sinistra widened T6 value of 5 is that it can resist the maximum custody, the increase in active ROM T1 = (S 40-0-30, F 40-0-45, R 40- 0-40) to T6 = (S 40-0-35, F 45-0-45, R 40-0-40) while the passive ROM T1 = (S 40-0-30, F 40-0-45, R 40-0-40) to T6 = (S 40-0-35, F 45-0-45, R 40-0-40) and increased functional activity using NDI scores T1= 32% to T6= 15,5%. Patients with a diagnosis of cervical root syndrome with pain and stiffness in his cervical, with limited range of motion (ROM) and a decrease in muscle Power Hidden. Given physiotherapy program with transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation modalities and exercise therapy, after therapy for 6 times which resulted increased functional activity, decrease in less pain, increase range of motion of the cervical joint and increasing muscle strength. Patients are suggested to therapy regularly and do exercises which had been treated by a physiotherapist.
